COGNET HR SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED in Chennai, India, is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage core finance operations for US finance. The role covers journal entries, AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end close, with emphasis on US GAAP compliance and taxation support.

Night shifts are required. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting/finance, with CPA or equivalent certifications preferred.

• Conduct General Ledger (GL) Reconciliations.

Experience Level

4-6 years of experience in US finance, or accounting, payroll tax,

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or other relevant certifications preferred.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles.

• Working knowledge of AP/AR, Journal Entries, and Reconciliations.

• Understanding of US GAAP.

• Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas preferred).

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Willingness to work in a mandatory night shift.
