Job summary

Fabex Engineering in Nashik District, Maharashtra, is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to manage shop floor operations, supervise fabrication and manufacturing activities, and ensure on‑time delivery with quality and safety adherence.

The role involves planning work for operators, welders, fitters, and other shop floor staff, while reading drawings, monitoring quality and process efficiency, and coordinating with Design, Quality, Stores and Maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in engineering/manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of pressure vessel and fabrication processes.
• Experience handling shop floor workers and daily production activities.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and production requirements.
• Good problem-solving and supervisory skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities across fabrication, welding, machining and assembly.
• Plan and allocate work to operators, welders, fitters, and shop floor staff.
• Ensure production targets are achieved as per schedules.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Monitor production quality, material utilization and process efficiency.
• Coordinate with Design, Quality, Stores and Maintenance departments.
• Ensure proper machine utilization and minimize downtime.
• Maintain daily production reports and monitor progress.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and 5S practices.
• Identify production issues and implement corrective actions.
