Job summary

Janshakti Kitchen Solutions Pvt Ltd in Ahmedabad, Gujarat is seeking an experienced Senior PPC Manager to lead production planning and control in stainless steel fabrication. You will manage planning, scheduling, capacity and material coordination to ensure on-time delivery.

You will oversee a PPC team, coordinate with multiple departments, monitor MIS and delivery performance, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in mechanical or production engineering preferred.
• Relevant experience in PPC / Production Planning & Control.
• Manufacturing / Stainless Steel / Metal Fabrication industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and material planning.
• Knowledge of fabrication processes and manufacturing workflows.
• Experience in manpower and capacity planning.
• Strong team management and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Ability to independently manage PPC operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on order requirements.
• Plan and monitor production activities to achieve delivery targets.
• Prepare job‑wise and machine‑wise production schedules.
• Monitor production progress and ensure timely completion of orders.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Purchase and Stores for material availability.
• Prepare material requirement plans based on production schedules.
• Monitor raw material availability, consumption, and inventory.
• Ensure minimum production delays due to material shortages.
• Plan production activities for stainless steel/metal fabrication.
• Coordinate processes such as cutting, bending, welding, grinding, buffing, and assembly.
• Understand technical drawings, BOM, and job specifications.
• Monitor job progress at different production stages.
• Plan and allocate manpower according to production requirements.
• Monitor machine capacity and workforce utilization.
• Handle and guide the PPC team.
• Ensure optimum utilisation of machines, manpower, and resources.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Design, Quality, and Project departments.
• Conduct regular production review meetings.
• Communicate production priorities and delivery schedules to concerned departments.
• Resolve planning and execution‑related issues.
• Prepare daily production reports and PPC MIS.
• Track production targets versus actual output.
• Monitor pending orders, work‑in‑progress (WIP), and delivery performance.
• Analyze production delays and implement process improvements.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced senior PPC manager with strong expertise in production planning and control within the stainless steel fabrication/metal manufacturing industry. The candidate must have hands‑on experience in production planning, capacity planning, material planning, manpower allocation, job scheduling, and production monitoring. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing the complete PPC department, coordinating with multiple departments, and ensuring timely production and delivery as per customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning & Scheduling

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on order requirements.
• Plan and monitor production activities to achieve delivery targets.
• Prepare job‑wise and machine‑wise production schedules.
• Monitor production progress and ensure timely completion of orders.
