Position Value

Responsibilities and duties

• Complete and report relevant analysis reports according to customer requirements
• Research and investigate cost parameters and technical parameters
• Execute product cost calculation and provide cost optimization ideas or target cost
• Timely coordinate to solve problems to ensure project normal delivery

KEY MEASURES & INDICATORS (main KPIs used in the role)

• Generate technical insights report, costing calculation and report, DtC/VAVE ideas and report as per the tasks assigned by manager and according to required quality standards

Qualifications and skills

• More than 5 years experience/knowledge of ICE, Transmission and eMotor & Technologies like Casting, forging, machining, Gear machining, Wire winding, Stamping, welding, Sintering, Injection molding, painting, Assembly in the function of Product Development, Cost Engineering, Purchasing, SQE/STA, Lean Manufacturing or Value Engineering;
• Experience on BOM cost calculation, DtC/VAVE from supply chain, material and manufacturing process;
• Stamping / forging technology manufacturing and costing knowledge;
• English written & oral, overseas study experience is a plus;
• Bachelor or above degree in electronics, mechanical, industrial engineering or related area;
• Good communication skills and teamwork spirit;
• Strong adaptability and flexibility, innovative spirit;
