Job summary

A2Mac1 is looking for a candidate to understand engineering solutions through technical benchmarks and collaborate on new product development. The role involves generating technical insights reports and coordinating solutions to ensure project timelines are met.

The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience in chassis suspension and related technologies, along with strong communication skills. A Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering is required.

Qualifications

• More than 5 years experience or knowledge of Chassis Suspension, Steering, and Brakes technologies.
• Experience on BOM cost calculation and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of stamping/forging technology manufacturing and costing.

Responsibilities

• Complete and report relevant analysis reports as per customer requirements.
• Research cost parameters and execute product cost calculation.
• Coordinate timely solutions to ensure project delivery.

Responsibilities and duties

1. Complete and report relevant analysis reports according to customer requirements
2. Research and investigate cost parameters and technical parameters
3. Execute product cost calculation and provide cost optimization ideas or target cost
4. Timely coordinate to solve problems to ensure project normal delivery

KEY MEASURES & INDICATORS (main KPIs used in the role)

Generate technical insights report, costing calculation and report, DtC/VAVE ideas and report as per the tasks assigned by manager and according to required quality standards

Qualifications and skills

• More than 5 years experience/knowledge of Chassis Suspension, Steering, Brakes & technologies like casting, forging, machining, stamping, welding, sintering, injection molding, painting, assembly in the function of Product Development, Cost Engineering, Purchasing, SQE/STA, Lean Manufacturing or Value Engineering;
• Experience on BOM cost calculation, DtC/VAVE from supply chain, material and manufacturing process;
• Stamping / forging technology manufacturing and costing knowledge;
• English written & oral, overseas study experience is a plus;
• Bachelor or above degree in mechanical, industrial engineering or related area;
• Good communication skills and teamwork spirit;
• Strong adaptability and flexibility, innovative spirit;
