• Lead preparation of Master Production Schedules (MPS).
• Perform capacity planning, machine loading, and manpower allocation.
• Ensure alignment of production plans with sales forecasts and delivery commitments.
• Monitor WIP, inventory planning, and material availability.
• Analyze lead times, routing, and BOM accuracy.
• Resolve production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct variance analysis and improve schedule adherence.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems for production tracking and reporting.
• Coordinate with Stores for Raw Material planning and issue control.
• Generate MIS & performance dashboards for senior management.
• Mentor junior planning engineers and streamline PPC processes.

The Senior Planning Engineer will lead production planning activities, optimize resource utilization, ensure delivery commitments, and drive continuous improvement in planning processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of Master Production Schedules (MPS).
• Perform capacity planning, machine loading, and manpower allocation.
• Ensure alignment of production plans with sales forecasts and customer delivery commitments.
• Monitor and control WIP levels, inventory planning, and material availability.
• Analyze and optimize lead times, routing, and BOM accuracy.
• Drive resolution of production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct detailed Plan vs Actual variance analysis and improve schedule adherence.
• Ensure effective usage of ERP/MRP systems for production tracking and reporting.
• Coordinate closely with Stores for Raw Material planning and issue control.
• Generate advanced MIS & performance dashboards for senior management.
• Mentor junior planning engineers and streamline PPC processes.
