Job summary

Blackbaud India is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator to lead the reliability, performance, and security of our enterprise Oracle database platforms in production environments. You will own day‑to‑day operations and partner with application and cloud teams to optimize performance and support migrations.

The role requires hands‑on OCI experience, strong tuning skills, and the ability to work on Linux with automation to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of professional experience administering Oracle databases in enterprise, production environments.
• Hands‑on experience administering Oracle databases in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, including Oracle Database on OCI and Oracle Exadata Cloud Service.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database operations, including performance tuning, backup and recovery, and high‑availability architectures.

About the Role

• Familiarity with OCI core services as they relate to databases, including compute, storage, networking, and identity and access management.


• Hands‑on experience with Linux systems and database automation or scripting to reduce manual effort and improve reliability. Available on a 24x7x365 basis when needed for production impacting incidents or key customer events
