Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform end-to-end Oracle database administration activities across enterprise technology environments.
  • Support technology projects involving Oracle database platforms, upgrades, migrations, and enhancements.
  • Perform Oracle database performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Conduct SQL tuning, database tuning, and performance improvement activities.
  • Manage Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) environments and ensure high availability.
  • Configure and maintain Oracle Data Guard environments for disaster recovery and business continuity.
  • Perform database patching, upgrades, maintenance, and release activities.
  • Execute database migration activities across different environments.
  • Manage backup, recovery, and restore activities using Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN).
  • Monitor and manage Oracle environments using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
  • Automate repetitive Oracle DBA operational tasks using automation tools and scripting.
  • Develop automation workflows using tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, and Groovy.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, application, DevOps, and engineering teams for database-related activities.
  • Support cloud-based database environments including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and AWS.
  • Participate in Agile delivery processes, sprint planning, and technology initiatives.
  • Provide production support and participate in planned after-hours/weekend activities when required.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining delivery quality and operational stability.
