Job summary

Buxton Consulting is seeking a Sr. Oracle EBS / Applications DBA (MS SQL) for a remote or Hyderabad hybrid role in India. Immediate start; 8+ years of experience required with PST support hours in rotation. Fulltime position with notice period negotiable.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Oracle Core DBA administration, including RAC, Data Guard, RMAN.
• Solid experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2.x administration and support.
• OCI experience mandatory: Compute, Storage, Networking, Database services, DR and migrations.
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server DBA experience, including administration, performance tuning, backup/recovery and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; proactive attitude.

Job Description:

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Core DBA Administration, including:
• Oracle RAC

• Solid experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2.x administration and support.

• Cloud migrations and administration

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Oracle Exadata administration and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of automation and scripting (Shell, Python, Ansible, etc.).
• Exposure to high-availability and disaster recovery architectures.

Emerging Technology Skills:

• Knowledge or hands-on experience with AI-driven database administration, database automation, AI-assisted monitoring, performance optimization, or implementation of AI solutions within database environments is highly desirable.
