Job summary

Buxton Consulting is seeking a Sr. Oracle EBS / Applications DBA (MS SQL) to manage Oracle EBS R12.2.x and SQL Server environments in a hybrid remote/Hyderabad setup. The role requires 8+ years in Oracle core DBA, EBS administration, OCI, RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, and migrations.

You will handle performance tuning, upgrades, cloning, and disaster recovery, with strong communication and proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Core DBA Administration, including Oracle RAC and Data Guard.
• Solid experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2.x administration and support.
• OCI experience is mandatory, covering Compute, Storage, Networking, DB services, backup/recovery and cloud migrations.
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server DBA experience including administration, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; proactive attitude is a must.

Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle EBS R12.2.x and Oracle Core DBA tasks.
• Manage Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN backups and disaster recovery setups.
• Perform upgrades, migrations and cloning as required.
• Handle OCI compute/storage/networking and DB services for cloud deployments.
• Maintain MSSQL Server environments with performance tuning and issue resolution.
