Job description

The Senior Officer - External Preparation will manage external preparation, production activities, manufacturing documentation, equipment handling, GMP compliance, and production workflow at Helios, Ahmedabad. This requires a graduate or post graduate qualification with 2–5 years of experience in production and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Manage external preparation and production activities as per approved SOPs and batch manufacturing records.
• Verify materials, equipment status, batch details, and area readiness before production activity.
• Operate or supervise manufacturing equipment and ensure smooth production workflow.
• Maintain batch manufacturing records, equipment logs, cleaning records, and production documentation.
• Monitor process parameters, product quality, yield, and in-process production requirements.
• Coordinate with production, QA, QC, warehouse, engineering, and maintenance teams.
• Follow GMP, GDP, hygiene, safety, and data integrity requirements during production activities.
• Report deviations, machine issues, process abnormalities, or material mismatch promptly.
• Support equipment cleaning, line clearance, area sanitization, and changeover activities.
• Guide junior staff and helpers for proper production practices.
• Ensure timely completion of production targets with quality and compliance.
• Maintain discipline, cleanliness, and safe working practices in the production area.
