Job description

The Capsule Filling Operator will operate capsule filling machines, support production activities, monitor machine performance, maintain batch documentation, and ensure GMP-compliant capsule manufacturing at Helios, Ahmedabad. This requires graduate or post graduate qualification with 3–5 years of experience in capsule filling and production machine operation.

• Operate capsule filling machines as per SOP and production instructions.
• Check machine readiness, product details, materials, and line clearance before operation.
• Monitor capsule filling parameters, machine speed, capsule weight, rejection, and production quality.
• Perform basic machine setup, cleaning, changeover, and operational checks.
• Maintain batch records, machine logs, cleaning records, and production documentation accurately.
• Coordinate with production supervisors, QA, QC, warehouse, and engineering teams.
• Report machine breakdown, weight variation, filling issue, capsule defect, or abnormal observation promptly.
• Follow GMP, safety, hygiene, PPE, and manufacturing area discipline.
• Support material reconciliation, yield calculation, and production completion activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe working practices around the capsule filling area.
• Ensure smooth machine operation with minimum downtime.
• Support quality-focused and compliant capsule production output.
