Job summary

Fortress Envira Climate Change Technology Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an Electrical Draughtsman in Thane, Maharashtra. The role focuses on developing engineering drawings, SLDs, GA layouts, and substation layouts using AutoCAD, with 2-3 years in the consulting industry.

You will also handle cable schedules, BIM/MEP considerations, and coordination with the project team to ensure GFC drawings align with site conditions and regulatory requirements. Site surveys and accurate documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical or Draftsmanship is required.
• 2-3 years experience in the consulting industry.
• Expert in AutoCAD and related design software.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and construction drawings.
• Development of engineering drawings including main SLD, GA layout, earthing, lightning, substation layouts.
• Development of cable schedule drawings.
• Coordinate with project team to ensure drawings for GFC per site conditions.
• Knowledge of Fire Alarm & Detection System design is a plus.
• Site survey experience and maintaining design records.
• Weekly project design tracker updates.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering drawings: Main SLD, overall GA layout, earthing, lightning, substation layout.
• Develop cable schedule drawings and translate sketches into CAD drawings.
• Interpret engineering sketches/specifications into CAD drawings and maintain records.
• Coordinate with project team to ensure drawings meet site conditions and GFC requirements.
• Conduct site surveys and contribute to land layout drawings per legal clearance.

• Proactive approach in giving feedback for electrical drawings and layouts.
• Adherence to systems and processes.
• Prepare/ update and communicate project wise design tracker on weekly basis.

Essential Skills:

• AutoCAD knowledge for reviewing drawings with basic drafting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and construction drawings.
• Expertise in other design tools.
• Knowledge of BIM/Revit MEP (optional but a plus).
