Job summary

Altudo, a high-growth customer and employee experience consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Next.js Developer to build enterprise-grade web apps with Next.js, React, and TypeScript. You’ll own frontend architecture, integrate with REST/GraphQL services, and manage CI/CD pipelines for production deployments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend, platform, and product to deliver scalable and performant digital experiences, leveraging AI-assisted development workflows

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years building production applications with Next.js, React and TypeScript.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale frontend architectures and scalable integrations with REST/GraphQL/microservices.
• Hands-on CI/CD ownership and production deployment experience, including monitoring and maintenance.

We are looking for a Senior Next.JS Developer who combines strong frontend engineering fundamentals with modern AI-assisted development practices. This is a hands‑on engineering role focused on building scalable, high-performance web applications using Next.js and React while collaborating closely with backend, platform, and product teams to deliver exceptional digital experiences.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Build scalable, reusable, and high-performance frontend architectures that support modern digital experiences.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs, GraphQL services, microservices, and third‑party platforms.
• Own application deployment, release management, CI/CD pipelines, and production readiness.
• Develop and deploy applications using Vercel and modern frontend hosting platforms.
• Leverage AI‑assisted and agentic development workflows to accelerate software delivery while maintaining code quality, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate closely with architects, backend engineers, designers, product managers, and client stakeholders to deliver business outcomes.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and drive continuous improvements in engineering quality and performance.
• Contribute to engineering standards, reusable frameworks, accelerators, and best practices.
• Mentor team members and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

Who You are:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 3+ years building production applications with Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Strong expertise in frontend architecture, component design, responsive design, accessibility, performance optimization, and modern engineering best practices.
• Experience building enterprise-scale web applications and integrating with REST APIs, GraphQL services, and micro‑services‑based architectures.
• Strong experience working with backend services and designing scalable frontend-to-backend integrations.
• Hands‑on experience owning CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, release management, and production support.
• Strong experience deploying, monitoring, and operating Next.js applications on Vercel in production environments.
• Experience with Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse optimization, and frontend performance tuning for enterprise applications.
• Hands‑on experience with automated testing, including unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing, and a disciplined approach to validating AI‑generated code before production release.
• Strong prompt‑engineering skills and hands‑on experience driving agentic coding workflows in Cursor and/or Claude Code.
• Demonstrated ability to scope, prompt, review, debug, validate, and refine AI‑generated implementations with full engineering ownership.
• Experience using AI‑assisted engineering tools to accelerate software development, testing, debugging, code reviews, documentation, and delivery.
• Ability to critically evaluate AI‑generated code and maintain high standards of quality, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills
