We are reimagining how complex finance workflows are automated and how professionals interact with data. We are a scrappy, data-driven, and customer-focused startup transforming industry operations with intelligent, multi-agent systems.
We believe that great product design isn't just about how it looks, but how it works in production to solve real customer pain points. As a Customer-Facing Design Technologist , you will sit at the unique intersection of UX design, front-end engineering, and client success. You will lead strategic conversations with our largest clients and immediately spin up the functional front-end code needed to prove out solutions.
The Role
We are looking for a unique hybrid professional. On the technical side , you are a solid engineer who loves building functional UI components, rapid prototypes, and data presentations without needing to manage heavy backend databases. On the customer engagement side , you operate independently with the customers —you are highly confident leading workshops, presenting solutions to executives, navigating ambiguous client feedback, and acting as a trusted strategic advisor. You approach the problem like a design researcher, you know that the customer doesn’t always know what their looking for and you know how to find it.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Client Discovery: Drive customer-facing meetings alongside sales and product leaders, translating complex, ambiguous enterprise workflows into clear technical requirements.
- Rapid Front-End Prototyping: Build functional, interactive UI components, responsive flows, and live data dashboards using Claude Code, React, and other tools to pitch directly to clients.
- Bridge the Gap: Act as the primary translator between the customer's real-world pain points and our core platform engineering team, ensuring we build what users actually need.
- AI & UX Experimentation: Design and build user-facing interfaces that integrate with AI agents, LLM pipelines, and prompt-driven user experiences.
- Scale Design Artifacts: Translate static mockups into reusable component libraries, maintaining UI consistency across custom enterprise deployments.
Who You Are
- The Strategic Communicator: You possess advanced soft skills. You know how to manage client expectations, present technical concepts simply, and build trust with external stakeholders.
- The Hybrid Builder: You have a solid grasp of front-end development, treating user experience, micro-interactions, and design polish as your primary compass.
- Thrive in Ambiguity: You excel in fast-moving startup environments where you must scope out an experimental prototype with minimal initial documentation.
- Empathetic Problem Solver: You naturally put yourself in the user’s shoes to figure out why a workflow feels broken and how an interface can fix it.
Tech Stack & Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience, with a heavy emphasis on client-facing technical roles (e.g., Design Research, Design Technologist, Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant, UX Architect).
- Design and Design Systems: Strong experience working with Figma, Claude Design, design system architectures, and UI component libraries with a portfolio of products that exemplifies great customer experiences.
- Data Visualization: Experience building data-dense layouts using libraries like Chart.js, Recharts, or D3.js.
- AI Familiarity: Exposure to interacting with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or AI frameworks is a major plus. You will be working with AI systems and AI Coding tools.
