Job summary

SNS India is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to design, configure, and manage FortiGate firewall environments in large enterprise networks. You will troubleshoot advanced security and routing issues and work closely with customers to resolve incidents within defined SLAs.

The role requires 7–10 years in network security, strong leadership and independent work capabilities, and a Fortinet NSE certification.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in Network Security / Network Administration.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset with ability to analyze and resolve technical issues.
• Ability to work independently and provide technical leadership to the team.
• Comfortable working in a customer-facing technical environment.
• Fortinet NSE certification is mandatory or any other relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, manage, and troubleshoot FortiGate Firewall environments.
• Handle advanced firewall configurations, security policies, NAT, VPN, routing, and related security features.
• Troubleshoot complex Routing and Switching issues across enterprise network environments.
• Analyze and resolve critical network and security incidents within defined SLAs.
• Perform firewall configuration changes, upgrades, migrations, and optimization activities.
• Monitor network security infrastructure and proactively identify potential issues.
• Work closely with internal teams, customers, and vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
