Job summary

EFI Bengaluru is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, operate, and optimize enterprise network and security infrastructure across offices, data centers, and cloud environments. The role requires hands-on expertise in routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, VPNs, cloud networking, and network troubleshooting.

The engineer will collaborate with security, infrastructure, and cloud teams to ensure high availability, performance, and security of the organization’s global network.

Responsibilities

• Network Operations: Manage and support enterprise LAN, WAN, Wireless, and Internet connectivity.
• Routing & Switching: Configure and maintain enterprise switching and routing infrastructure; manage BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Network Security: Manage firewalls and VPN infrastructure; implement security policies and segmentation.
• Wireless Networking: Manage enterprise wireless infrastructure and security.
• Cloud Networking: Support Azure and AWS networking and cloud-to-onprem connectivity.
• Automation & Documentation: Develop scripts and maintain network diagrams and docs.

POSITION SUMMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated Network Engineer to design, implement, operate, and optimize enterprise network and security infrastructure across multiple office locations, cloud environments, and datacenters. The role requires hands-on expertise in routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, VPNs, cloud networking, and network troubleshooting. The engineer will work closely with security, infrastructure, and cloud teams to ensure high availability, performance, and security of the organization's global network.

Key Responsibilities

Network Operations

• Manage and support enterprise LAN, WAN, Wireless, and Internet connectivity.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues across multiple locations.
• Monitor network performance, capacity, and availability.
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis.

Routing & Switching

• Configure and maintain enterprise switching and routing infrastructure.
• Manage dynamic routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Implement network segmentation and VLAN design.
• Support high-availability network architectures.

Network Security

• Manage next-generation firewalls and VPN infrastructure.
• Configure site-to-site and remote access VPNs.
• Implement security policies, ACLs, NAT, and segmentation.
• Participate in vulnerability remediation and security improvement initiatives.

Wireless Networking

• Manage enterprise wireless infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot wireless performance and roaming issues.
• Configure wireless security and authentication mechanisms.

Cloud Networking

• Support Azure and AWS networking.
• Configure VPN connectivity between cloud and on-premises environments.
• Manage cloud security controls, routing, and connectivity.

Automation & Documentation

• Develop scripts and automation for network operations.
• Maintain network diagrams and technical documentation.
• Contribute to network standardization and operational improvements.
