In Time Tec is seeking a Senior Network Engineer with 7+ years of hands-on enterprise networking experience to design, implement, manage, monitor, and troubleshoot complex LAN/WAN infrastructure.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Design, configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure.
Troubleshoot Layer 2/3 networking and routing issues.
Configure VLANs, trunking, STP variants, LACP, inter-VLAN routing, ACLs, QoS, and HSRP/VRRP.
Implement OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and static routing across networks.
Work with Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or equivalent platforms.
Configure and manage firewalls, NAT/PAT, security policies, and SSL inspection.
Configure wireless networks: SSIDs, 802.1X, RADIUS, roaming, and guest access.
Act as L3 escalation point; perform RCA and root cause analysis.

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer with 7+ years of hands‑on experience in enterprise networking. Candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure.

The role requires strong practical knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, wireless, VPN, WAN, network security, and network troubleshooting. The candidate should be capable of independently handling complex incidents, network changes, upgrades, and infrastructure projects while providing technical guidance to junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure.
Strong Layer 2 and Layer 3 troubleshooting capabilities.
Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, trunking, STP/RSTP/MSTP, LACP/EtherChannel, inter‑VLAN routing, ACLs, QoS, HSRP/VRRP.
Strong understanding of OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and Static Routing.
Troubleshoot routing loops, packet loss, latency, route flapping, and connectivity issues.
Analyze routing tables, ARP/MAC tables, STP topology, and network traffic.
Hands‑on experience with Cisco, Aruba, or equivalent enterprise networking platforms.

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise firewalls.
Hands‑on experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/Firepower, or equivalent.
Configure and troubleshoot security policies, NAT/PAT, ACLs, application control, web filtering, IPS/IDS, SSL inspection, traffic shaping, and HA.
Troubleshoot firewall‑related connectivity and security issues.
Perform firewall configuration backup, restoration, upgrades, and basic hardening.
Implement network segmentation and security best practices.

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise wireless infrastructure.
Configure SSIDs, VLAN mapping, guest Wi‑Fi, captive portal, WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X, RADIUS, and roaming.
Troubleshoot wireless authentication, connectivity, coverage, interference, and performance issues.

Network Troubleshooting & Operations

Act as an L3 escalation point for complex network incidents.
Perform structured troubleshooting and identify root cause.
Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, routing, switching, firewall, VPN, wireless, Internet, and network security issues.
Use tools such as Wireshark, Ping, Traceroute, Nslookup/Dig, packet capture, and vendor CLI.
Analyze network logs, alerts, and traffic flows.
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major incidents.
Identify recurring problems and recommend permanent solutions.
Monitor network availability, performance, bandwidth, latency, errors, and packet drops.
Work with network monitoring and management platforms.
