Job summary

AXIS DIRECT in Navi Mumbai invites an experienced L3 Network & Security Engineer to design, implement and troubleshoot complex network and security infrastructure. You will handle L3 incidents, configure routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs and LAN/WAN, and monitor performance to meet SLA.

The role demands 5 to 10 years in networking, CCNP/CCIE or security certs are a plus, and familiarity with broking or capital markets is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant experience in network engineering.
• CCNP / CCIE or relevant security certifications are a plus.
• Exposure to broker/capital markets is preferred.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced L3 Network & Security Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise networking, routing, switching, firewalls, and network security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain and troubleshoot Network & Security Infrastructure.
• Handle complex L3 incidents, outages and network troubleshooting.
• Configure and troubleshoot Routing & Switching, Firewalls, VPNs and LAN/WAN.
• Monitor network performance, capacity and security; ensure SLA compliance.
• Perform network upgrades, firmware updates and infrastructure optimization.
• Work closely with Network, Security, Project and Service Desk teams.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.

• Routing: Static Routing, OSPF, BGP
• Networking: VRF, HSRP, Load Sharing, PBR, ACL, LAN, NAT

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in Broking / Stock Broking / Capital Markets strongly preferred.
• CCNP / CCIE or relevant security certifications will be an added advantage.
• Exposure to multicast environments is a plus.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
