Job summary

Orbit Techsol India is seeking an experienced L3 Network Engineer in Pune/Mumbai to design, implement, and optimize complex enterprise networks.

The ideal candidate has 7–12 years of hands-on experience with Aruba, Juniper, Cisco, firewalls, and data center technologies, along with strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills. This full-time role includes on-site work and opportunities to lead critical projects.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data center networks.
• Provide L3 support for complex incidents, performance issues, and escalations.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Aruba wired and wireless infrastructure.
• Administer and troubleshoot Juniper networking solutions, including routers, switches, and security devices.
• Manage Juniper MX Series routers and enterprise routing platforms.
• Configure and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and wireless controllers.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise Wireless networks with RF optimization and high-density deployments.
• Configure and support enterprise Firewalls, VPNs, NAT, ACLs, and security policies.
• Perform network capacity planning, performance tuning, and root cause analysis.
• Implement network redundancy, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Monitor network health using enterprise monitoring tools and proactively resolve issues.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams during projects and incidents.
• Prepare network documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and technical reports.
• Participate in change management, maintenance activities, and on‑call support.

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced L3 Network Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise networking, wireless infrastructure, security, and data center technologies. The ideal candidate will possess advanced troubleshooting skills and hands‑on experience with Aruba, Juniper, Cisco, wireless solutions, firewalls, routing, and switching. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and supporting complex network environments while ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data center networks.
• Provide L3 support for complex network incidents, performance issues, and escalations.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Aruba wired and wireless infrastructure.
• Administer and troubleshoot Juniper networking solutions, including routers, switches, and security devices.
• Manage Juniper MX Series (Major) routers and enterprise routing platforms.
• Configure and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and wireless controllers.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise Wireless networks, including RF optimization, roaming, and highdensity deployments.
• Configure and support enterprise Firewalls, VPNs, NAT, ACLs, and security policies.
• Perform network capacity planning, performance tuning, and root cause analysis.

Required Technical Skills :

• Strong hands‑on experience with Aruba switches, controllers, and wireless access points.
• Advanced knowledge of Juniper routing and switching.
• Experience managing Juniper MX Series routers and enterprise networking solutions.
• Strong expertise in Cisco routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
• Extensive experience with enterprise Wireless deployments and troubleshooting.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise Firewalls (Juniper SRX, Cisco Firepower/ASA, Palo Alto, or Fortinet).
• Deep understanding of:
• TCP/IP,
• Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS),
• VLANs, STP, VRRP/HSRP
• MPLS
• VPN Technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN)
• QoS
• Multicast
• Network Security
• DNS, DHCP, NAT
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, or similar.
• Experience with automation using Python, Ansible, or scripting is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is preferred.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
• 7–12 years of enterprise networking experience.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Certifications

• Aruba Certified Professional (ACP/ACMX)
• Juniper Networks Certified Professional (JNCIP/JNCIE)
• Cisco CCNP Enterprise or CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure
• Firewall certifications (Palo Alto PCNSE, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent)
