Job summary

Oedec Engineering Consultancy seeks a Senior Naval Architect Engineer to lead Transportation & Installation (T&I) activities for complex offshore Oil & Gas projects. You will direct marine transportation and offshore installation design, analysis, and reviews.

The role requires deep knowledge of sea fastening, tow, stability, mooring, ballasting, and lifting operations, with strong coordination skills across multiple disciplines and clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Naval Architecture / Offshore Transportation & Installation Engineering.
• Experience with major Oil & Gas clients such as ADNOC, Saudi Aramco, ONGC, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of MOSES, OrcaFlex, GHS, ANSYS, or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Lead Transportation & Installation (T&I) engineering for jackets, topsides, skids, pipelines, and subsea structures.
• Perform sea fastening, tow, stability, mooring, and installation analyses.
• Handle loadout, grillage, rigging, lifting, lowering, and upending engineering.
• Conduct Vessel ROA and Structure ROA for transportation and lifting operations.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, procedures, and technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with DNV, ABS, API, and ISO standards.
• Coordinate with clients, project teams, and other engineering disciplines.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

• Perform sea fastening, tow, stability, ballasting/de-ballasting, mooring, and installation analyses.
• Handle loadout, grillage, rigging, lifting, lowering, and upending engineering.
• Conduct Vessel ROA and Structure ROA for transportation and lifting operations.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, procedures, and technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with DNV, ABS, API, and ISO standards.
• Coordinate with clients, project teams, and other engineering disciplines.
