Job summary

Revvity in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, is seeking a laboratory professional to support NGS and MDx operations. You will perform NGS libraries and NIPT assays, handle sequencers, load samples, and maintain instruments daily.

You will validate PCR tests for genetic testing services, conduct PCR tests and report analysis, perform DNA isolation and QC, and help improve the MDx unit with new techniques while ensuring GLP and SOP adherence.

Qualifications

• Experience with NGS workflows and library preparation.
• Hands-on with NGS sequencers, sample loading, and daily maintenance.
• Experience validating PCR tests in genetic testing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Perform NGS libraries and NIPT assays.
• Handle NGS sequencers including sample loading and daily maintenance.

• Independently conduct PCR tests until report analysis.
• Carry out DNA isolation, quantification and quality checks.
• Assist with other assays as needed.
• Contribute to improvements in the MDx Unit with newer techniques.
• Ensure samples are processed from receipt to reporting and maintain TAT.
• Prepare monthly reports on samples processed, reported and cancelled.
• Maintain instruments and pipettes; take ownership of tasks.
• Follow quality SOPs and GLP.

• Will carry out DNA isolation, quantification and quality checks.
• Will assist with other assays as needed.
• Will be involved in discussions to improve the MDx Unit with inclusion of newer techniques.
• Routinely follow the samples from receipt to reporting and ensure TAT compliance.
• Prepare monthly reports as needed for the number of samples processed, reported and cancelled.
• Takes ownership of the processes and tasks handed over – maintenance of instruments and pipettes.
• Take responsibility for following quality SOPs and GLP.
