Job summary

JSR IMPEX, based in Noida, India, is seeking a Senior Merchandiser for an on-site, full-time role. You will manage end-to-end merchandising, coordinate with international buyers, and translate requirements into product and production plans.

You will oversee sample development, costing, order follow-up, and production timelines, collaborating with design, production, and quality teams while analyzing market trends and maintaining client relationships to explore new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• A bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Design, Fashion Technology, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in a senior merchandising role within the garment export industry, especially in woven, knits, and embellished products, will be an advantage.

Role Description The Senior Merchandiser role is a full-time, on-site position located in Noida. The Senior Merchandiser will manage end-to-end merchandising activities, including coordinating with buyers, understanding their requirements, and translating them into clear product and production plans. Daily responsibilities include handling sample development, costing, order follow-up, and tracking production timelines to ensure on-time delivery. The role involves close collaboration with design, production, and quality teams to align product specifications, fabric choices, trims, and embellishments with buyer expectations. The Senior Merchandiser will also analyze market trends, maintain strong relationships with existing clients, support new business opportunities, and prepare reports on order status, performance, and key metrics.
