Job summary

RSP Design Consultants (India) Pvt Ltd - Accenture Project in Pune seeks an experienced Senior MEP Site Coordinator to lead day-to-day MEP design coordination on a corporate interior fit-out. You will interface with interior teams, client, PMC, contractors, vendors and other consultants to ensure seamless execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related building services.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in corporate workplace/interior fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and ELV systems.
• Ability to read and coordinate architectural, interior and MEP drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit/BIM/Navisworks is a plus.
• Excellent coordination, documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent the MEP Design team at site and handle day-to-day MEP design coordination.
• Review HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and ELV installations against drawings.
• Coordinate MEP services with interior layouts and furniture.
• Review shop drawings and obtain approvals.
• Identify clashes before execution.
• Coordinate ceiling services with lighting and other ceiling-mounted services.
• Coordinate service routing, levels, equipment locations and openings.
• Review site conditions and identify deviations affecting design.
• Coordinate with Client/PMC/contractors for timely resolution of queries.
• Track RFIs, shop drawings, material submissions and approvals.
• Attend coordination meetings and provide design inputs.
• Conduct site inspections and document deviations.
• Maintain records of design changes and coordination issues.
• Support testing, commissioning and snagging from coordination perspective.
• Identify coordination issues impacting interior execution or schedule.
• Provide progress updates to Project/MEP Manager.

Role Summary

RSP is looking for an experienced MEP Site Coordinator for an Accenture corporate interior project in Pune. The candidate will represent the MEP Design team at site and coordinate closely with the Interior Design team, Client, PMC, contractors, vendors and other consultants.

The candidate should have extensive experience in MEP coordination for corporate workplace/interior fit-out projects and be capable of independently resolving multidisciplinary coordination issues at site.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the RSP MEP Design team at site and handle day-to-day MEP design coordination.


• Review HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and associated ELV/service installations against approved design/GFC drawings and specifications.


• Coordinate MEP services with interior layouts, partitions, reflected ceiling plans, furniture, equipment and


• Review and coordinate contractor/vendor MEP shop drawings and facilitate review/approval by the respective design teams.


• Identify clashes between HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, ELV and interior elements before execution.


• Coordinate ceiling services including lighting, diffusers/grilles, sprinklers, detectors, speakers and other ceiling-mounted services with the approved RCP.


• Coordinate service routing, levels, equipment locations, shafts, openings, sleeves and builder-work requirements.


• Review actual site conditions and identify deviations or constraints affecting the approved MEP design.


• Coordinate with Client, PMC, contractors, vendors, Interior Design team and MEP designers for timely resolution of technical queries.


• Track MEP RFIs, shop drawings, material submissions and technical/design approvals.


• Attend MEP and site coordination meetings and provide necessary design coordination inputs.


• Conduct regular site inspections and highlight deviations from approved drawings/design requirements.


• Coordinate with the RSP MEP team for required design clarifications and drawing revisions.


• Maintain records of RFIs, approvals, design changes and site coordination issues.


• Support testing, commissioning and snagging activities from the Design Consultant's coordination perspective.


• Proactively identify MEP coordination issues that could impact interior execution, quality or project programme.


• Provide regular progress and issue updates to the RSP Project/MEP Manager.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or relevant Building Services discipline.


• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably with substantial experience in corporate workplace/interior fit-out projects.


• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and ELV systems applicable to commercial interiors.


• Strong understanding of the interface between MEP services and interior design.


• Proven experience in multidisciplinary coordination on large and fast-track corporate fit-out projects.


• Ability to read and coordinate Architectural, Interior and MEP drawings.


• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; working knowledge of Revit/BIM/Navisworks will be an advantage.


• Strong site coordination, communication, documentation and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to independently represent the MEP Design Consultant at site and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
