Job summary

Broadridge India is seeking a data engineer with 4–6 years of hands-on experience in data engineering on cloud platforms. You will implement data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Airflow, leverage AWS services and Snowflake for warehousing, and build ETL processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile Scrum environment.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, plus a focus on data security and compliance. Certifications in AWS or Snowflake are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 4–6 years hands-on data engineering experience on cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow).
• Expertise in AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda) and Snowflake.
• ETL, data integration, and API development experience.
• Experience with data visualization tools Tableau/Power BI/Looker.
• Strong problem solving, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration on Agile Scrum teams.
• Knowledge of data security, privacy regulations, and compliance.
• AWS or Snowflake certifications are a plus.

• 4-6 years of hands‑on experience in data engineering or related roles, with specialized experience in data engineering tasks on cloud platforms.
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and one or more data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow).
• Expertise in AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, Lambda).
• Extensive experience with Snowflake, including data warehousing, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
• Proficiency in ETL tools, data integration, and API development.
• Capable of adapting workflows and processes to enhance efficiency and meet evolving project requirements.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Exceptional problem‑solving skills and ability to handle complex data challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross‑functional teams.
• Demonstrated experience working within Agile Scrum frameworks to deliver iterative and incremental value.
• Strong understanding of data security, privacy regulations, and compliance.
• Certifications in AWS or Snowflake are a plus.
