Job summary

ROCKWOOL Group is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to perform preventive and corrective maintenance of air compressors, dryers, and chillers, and to assist in fire pipeline system projects. You will supervise fabrication, coordinate with vendors, and maintain comprehensive service records.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety and environmental compliance, conducting root-cause analyses for breakdowns, and driving energy-saving improvements alongside reliability initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of air compressors, air dryers, and chillers.
• Carry out pump servicing, seal replacement, bearing inspection, and alignment.
• Execute maintenance of conveyors (belt, roller, or screw type), including lubrication, alignment, and motor coupling checks.
• Conduct mechanical alignment using dial indicators or precision instruments.
• Diagnose and rectify breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Assist in the design, layout, and installation of fire pipeline systems (hydrant, sprinkler, and hose reel lines).
• Supervise fabrication, erection, and commissioning work as per approved drawings and safety standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for project-related activities.
• Maintain maintenance logs, inspection checklists, and service reports.
• Prepare root cause analysis (RCA) reports for major breakdowns.
• Track spare parts inventory and raise material requisitions.
• Ensure all maintenance and project activities comply with safety and environmental standards.
• Participate in toolbox talks and risk assessments before starting work.
• Adhere to company and statutory standards related to mechanical and fire safety systems.
• Suggest and implement process improvements for energy saving and system efficiency.
• Support reliability engineering initiatives and preventive maintenance optimization.
