Job summary

ROCKWOOL Group in India is seeking a Stores Executive to manage maintenance spares and consumables, verify receipts, and ensure accurate inventory and documentation. You will create GRN in SAP, coordinate inspections, and maintain 5S compliant stores with traceability.

The role requires 4+ years of experience, a bachelor's degree, and knowledge of SAP MM/GRN processes. ISO and safety compliance are integral, with periodic audits and cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in stores, maintenance spares, or consumables management.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP MM/GRN and GRN creation.
  • Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and 5S housekeeping.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and verify maintenance spares and consumables against PO and supporting documents.
  • Check material quantity, description, condition, and required documentation during receipt.
  • Coordinate with users for material inspection and acceptance.
  • Create GRN in SAP after completing receipt verification.
  • Maintain accurate store records and inventory documentation.
  • Store maintenance spares and consumables in designated locations with proper identification and traceability.
  • Issue materials against approved material requests and ensure proper documentation.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock verification and reconciliation.
  • Monitor stock availability and support timely identification of shortages or discrepancies.
  • Hold and report damaged, incorrect, or non-conforming materials to the Store Incharge.
  • Maintain proper storage conditions, 5S, housekeeping, and material identification within the stores.
  • Support periodic stock counting, cycle counting, and physical inventory verification.
  • Ensure compliance with stores SOPs, company procedures, safety requirements, and applicable ISO requirements.
  • Maintain all required records and documents for internal and external audits.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance, Procurement, Quality, Finance, and other relevant functions for smooth spare material management.
  • Monitor and maintain minimum, maximum, and reorder stock levels for maintenance spares and consumables to ensure timely availability and avoid stock-outs or excess inventory.
