Job summary

ROCKWOOL Group is seeking a logistics operations professional in India to manage outbound and inbound activities, ensuring on-time deliveries and cost efficiency. You will optimize vehicle planning, monitor KPIs, and coordinate with warehouses and transporters to sustain high service levels.

The role requires 3+ years in logistics, a Bachelor’s degree, and hands-on SAP experience along with Excel/Power BI for MIS reporting and data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in logistics and warehouse operations.
• Experience with SAP, invoice processing, freight reconciliation and E-Way Bill generation.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Power BI, MIS reporting and data analysis.
• Understanding GST compliance, shipping docs, and vendor/transporter coordination.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of shipments per customer requirements.
• Plan vehicle numbers and types per consignee orders and monitor logistics activities.
• Process logistics invoices accurately and verify freight bills against contracts.
• Generate E-Way Bills and ensure GST compliance and proper documentation.
• Maintain audit-ready records and SAP updates for shipments and inventory.
• Develop logistics dashboards and analyze costs, performance, and trends.
• Coordinate with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure on-time material movement.
• Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Finance and Warehouse to resolve delivery issues.

Professional Skills – Essential

Above 3 Year of Experience in logistics & warehouse Bachelor’s degree Knowledge of logistics, transportation, inventory, and supply chain operations. Hands-on experience in SAP, invoice processing, freight reconciliation and E-Way Bill generation. Proficiency in MS office, Excel, Power BI, MIS reporting, data analysis, and MS Excel. Understanding of GST compliance, shipping documentation, and vendor/transporter coordination.

Professional Skills – Desirable (may be considered for future development)

Identify process improvement opportunities using SAP and Excel, Power BI insights. Support automation and digitalization initiatives within logistics operations. Recommend measures to improve operational efficiency and reduce logistics costs.
