Job summary

Quest Global in Bengaluru, India is seeking a mechanical engineer to create 2D drawings and 3D models for steam turbines using Unigraphics/NX. You will read and review manufacturing drawings and BOMs, interpret design intent, and generate accurate models for new requirements.

You should be proficient in solid and surface modeling in Siemens NX with hands-on AutoCAD, and possess strong GD&T knowledge; on-site work is required and Japanese language is a plus.

Qualifications

• Reading and creating manufacturing component and assembly drawings, along with bills of materials.
• Comprehend design intent and generate models/drawings for new requirements.
• Well versed in solid and surface modeling and detailing in Siemens NX, with hands-on AutoCAD experience.
• Knowledgeable in GD&T, fits and tolerances, material selection, manufacturing processes and design hand calculations.
• Experience with steam turbines is a plus; OEMs with similar products acceptable.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Work from Office is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Japanese language would be an added advantage.

Work Experience
