Job summary

Quest Global in Bengaluru seeks a seasoned CAD design engineer to design and create 3D models and detailed drawings using Siemens NX, and to develop complex assemblies for manufacturing.

You will collaborate with design originators, perform GD&T checks, and ensure designs are manufacturable while driving quality and cost reduction initiatives. A mechanical engineering degree and 3–6 years of CAD experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 3–6 years of CAD design experience.
• Proficiency in Siemens NX software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with PLM tools like Teamcenter.
• Knowledge of Welding and Fabrication (sheet metal) methodology.
• Experience with GD&T and other detailed standards.
• Experience in Renewable Energy Domain is an added advantage.

• Generation of detailed 2D drawings using Siemens NX.
• Perform geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Participate in design optimization and cost reduction initiatives.
