Job summary

JobTrade is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Hyderabad, India to design, develop, and optimize mechanical components and assemblies for products incorporating BLDC motors. You will analyze integration requirements, prepare drawings and BOMs, perform tolerance analyses, and lead prototype builds and validations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize mechanical components and assemblies for products with BLDC motors.
• Analyze motor integration requirements including mounting, cooling, shafts, housings, and transmission mechanisms.
• Prepare and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, BOMs, and assembly documentation.
• Perform tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure fit, function, and manufacturability.
• Lead mechanical assembly activities, prototype builds, and product validation testing.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and assembly issues during prototype and production.
• Coordinate with electrical, manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams throughout development.
• Support supplier development, component selection, and technical reviews.
• Ensure designs comply with standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.
• Identify and implement design improvements based on testing and feedback.
• Prepare technical reports, design docs, ECNs, and related records.

• Lead mechanical assembly activities, prototype builds, and product validation testing.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and assembly-related issues during prototype and production stages.
• Coordinate with electrical, manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams throughout the product development process.

• Ensure mechanical designs comply with applicable engineering standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.
• Identify and implement design improvements based on testing, production feedback, and performance requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, design documentation, engineering change requests, and other relevant engineering records.
