Job summary

Siemens in Bengaluru, India seeks a Senior Technical member to lead commercialized system design changes and refurbish engineering support. You will address part obsolescence, supplier changes, and raw material updates to ensure uninterrupted production, while planning and executing projects within cost and quality goals.

You will identify cost-reduction opportunities for procurement, assess product risks, manage escalations per CAPA, and ensure regulatory compliance across audits.

Qualifications

• High level experience in Hardware system design (medical device only), qualification and verification.
• Able to create 3D models and 2D drawings of system components in NX or similar CAD/CAM software.
• Able to assess the Risk, Usability, Safety and EMC of any change requirements.
• Develop test protocols and perform prototype testing.
• Design and produce fixtures for machining (sheet, metal, plastic etc) and assembly.
• Experience in customer complaint troubleshooting and analysis.
• Good knowledge in engineering change request management and PLM tools (Teamcenter, SAP).
• Experience with Product Life cycle management and awareness on FDA and EU regulations.
• Cross-functional collaboration with external suppliers, Manufacturing, Sales Marketing, Service, Quality and Regulations.
• Experience in Design to Cost projects and cost reduction implementations.
