You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, cost-effective, high-quality solutions while meeting customer requirements, with extensive travel to customer sites and suppliers as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modelling and drawings.
• Experience in product design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing support.
• Knowledge of engineering materials, manufacturing processes, and design standards.
• Experience in hydraulic systems will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and engineering calculation skills.
• Ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate multiple engineering activities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Analyze technical specifications, project requirements, and design inputs received from internal stakeholders.
• Develop product concepts, engineering layouts, and detailed designs based on project requirements.
• Prepare and review 3D models, manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Perform engineering calculations, design validation, and feasibility studies.
• Coordinate with procurement and manufacturing teams to optimize design for cost, manufacturability, and performance.
• Participate in prototype development, assembly, testing, and design verification activities.
• Provide technical support during manufacturing, inspection, testing, and field trials.
• Identify design improvements and implement corrective actions based on test results and operational feedback.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, specifications, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
• Maintain and update engineering documents, design records, and revision-controlled data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, procurement, and project management for timely project execution.
• Continuously improve product performance, reliability, and engineering processes.
• Ensure project milestones and engineering deliverables are completed within the targeted timelines.
• Travel to customer locations, vendor facilities, and project sites as required for technical discussions, design reviews, installation support, troubleshooting, testing, commissioning, and field trials.
