Job summary

Job description

Senior Engineer Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Should have a clear understanding of manual transmission and it`s sub systems (shift system, synchronizers, gears, bearings etc)
• Should have work experience in gears, shaft & bearings with knowledge of KISS SOFT/ROMAX software.
• Should have a hands‑on experience of 3D CAD software (Catia preferred)
• Should have sufficient knowledge in detailing, tolerance stack up and GD&T BOM preparation and maintaining (TC awareness preferred)
• Adequate knowledge in DFMEA, DFM, DFC and DFS
• Adequate knowledge of gear manufacturing process & materials.
• Ability to interact with development team and supplier for component development
• Versatile to work with CFT and address the vehicle level integration concerns
• Ability to address the manufacturing and build issues with supplier and plant team; ability to deal with validation team for validation concerns and support
• Knowledge of root cause analysis, G8D for concern resolution
• Time Management for self & CFT for on time delivery of the project
• Experience 3 to 6 years
