Job summary

Rukma Plastics in Chennai invites a field‑based sales professional to drive growth for engineering polymer resins across South India. You will manage key accounts, work with OEMs, processors and large converters, and coordinate with principals, logistics and internal teams to ensure smooth order execution.

Role & responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and expand customer base for engineering polymer resins across South India
• Manage key accounts and high-volume customers including OEMs, processors, and large converters
• Identify and develop new applications and business opportunities across sectors such as Automotive, Electrical & Electronics, Appliances, Infrastructure, and Industrial applications
• Lead customer interactions including technical discussions, commercial negotiations, and coordination with internal teams
• Develop and execute pricing, volume, and customer-specific strategies in coordination with senior management
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing movements, and customer demand
• Support new product launches, trials, and qualification with customers
• Coordinate with principals/suppliers, logistics, and internal teams to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction
• Represent the company at exhibitions, technical seminars, and industry events

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong understanding of engineering plastics / polymer resins
• Experience in B2B sales / technical marketing of polymers or industrial raw materials
• Ability to manage key accounts and large-volume business
• Commercial acumen with exposure to pricing and negotiations
• Self-driven, result-oriented, and comfortable working independently in the field
