Job summary

Licious, Bengaluru-based meat and seafood company, seeks an experienced Senior Manager Vendor Quality to lead food safety and quality compliance across the supply chain. You will enforce standards at vendor sites, manage a large cross-functional team, and coordinate with regulatory bodies to elevate quality benchmarks.

You will spearhead end-to-end project management for quality initiatives, oversee vendor training, and ensure timely resolution of non-conformances while traveling for site visits

Qualifications

• Graduation or Master’s in Food Technology/ Food Science.
• Hands-on experience in poultry quality assurance, processing, or related operations in perishable products/FMCG.
• 10–15 years of overall experience in vendor or supply chain quality leadership.
• Proven experience managing large teams of 50+ across multi-location operations.
• Strong experience coordinating with government institutions and regulatory bodies (FSSAI, PFA, Veterinary Dept., etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects end-to-end with strong organizational and leadership skills.

• Establish, implement, and monitor food safety and quality standards across all vendor and supply chain touchpoints.
• Drive end-to-end project management for quality initiatives, from planning and execution to review and closure.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government institutions, regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders.
• Oversee training programs at vendor sites to ensure compliance with quality, hygiene, and food safety protocols.
• Resolve quality complaints and non-conformances promptly, driving root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Travel up to 15 days per month for vendor site visits, audits, and stakeholder coordination.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager Vendor Quality to lead and drive food safety and quality compliance across our supply chain. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and enforcing quality standards at vendor sites, managing a large cross-functional team of 40+ members, and ensuring seamless coordination between the supply chain and vendor ecosystem. You will spearhead end-to-end project management, engage with government institutions and regulatory bodies, and play a pivotal role in elevating Licious quality benchmarks across operations.
