Job summary

DeHaat, a leading Agri‑Tech organisation in India, seeks an experienced supply chain planner to lead end-to-end forecasting, inventory optimization, and network planning. You will bridge sales, procurement, and operations with data-driven planning and strong cross-functional leadership.

You will drive KPI dashboards, standardize SCM SOPs, and collaborate with Finance for budget alignment, ensuring optimal product availability and cost-efficient logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain / Business Management
• 8+ years of experience in supply chain planning or logistics
• Strong leadership, stakeholder coordination and cross-functional influence
• Proficiency in ERP systems, advanced Excel, and Python

Responsibilities

• Lead the forecasting process to align supply chain with business objectives, incorporating seasonal trends and market intelligence.
• Develop and implement inventory strategies to balance product availability with working capital efficiency.
• Propose and finalize network design to optimize logistics and distribution costs across the supply chain.
• Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor KPIs, such as forecasting accuracy, inventory turnover, stockouts, and freight cost/ton, providing actionable insights.
• Drive the standardization of SCM SOPs, focusing on accountability, process discipline, and technology adoption.
• Collaborate with Finance and Procurement on Annual Operating Plan creation, tracking budget adherence, and managing capital allocation.
• Coordinate effectively with Category, Sales, and Procurement teams to ensure demand-supply alignment and resolve operational hurdles.

You will be responsible for demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and network planning to ensure optimal product availability, minimize costs, and maximize service levels. This role bridges the gap between sales, procurement, and operations through data-driven planning and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Demand & Supply Planning: Lead the forecasting process to align supply chain with business objectives, incorporating seasonal trends and market intelligence.
• Inventory Optimization: Develop and implement inventory strategies to balance product availability with working capital efficiency.
• Network Strategy: Propose and finalize network design to optimize logistics and distribution costs across the supply chain.
• Performance Monitoring: Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor KPIs, such as forecasting accuracy, inventory turnover, stockouts, and freight cost/ton, providing actionable insights.
• Process Excellence: Drive the standardization of SCM SOPs, focusing on accountability, process discipline, and technology adoption.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain / Business Management. You should have 8+ years of experience in supply chain planning or logistics.
• Leadership Skills: Strong strategic thinking with an analytical and execution-oriented mindset. Success in this role requires demonstrated team leadership, excellent stakeholder coordination, high ownership, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Domain Knowledge: Proficiency in ERP systems, advanced Excel, and Python is required. You should have strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of statistical forecasting methods.
