Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited is seeking an experienced quality leader to monitor and control quality systems across the plant, drive audits, and ensure product integrity from design through assembly. This role emphasizes process discipline, supplier collaboration, and continuous improvement to meet stringent customer expectations.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in large four-wheeler automotive manufacturing, strong leadership, and a proven track record in driving defect reduction

Qualifications

• Knowledge of automobiles and its various systems.

• Body, paint operation and assembly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control Quality systems and processes; ensure compliance.
• Perform product and process audits to meet target quality and customer expectations.
• Lead supplier quality efforts; conduct supplier audits and top-level discussions.
• Drive continuous improvement and enhance customer satisfaction.

1. Monitor and control Quality systems and processes
Compliance and effective control to documented processes and effectiveness
-Analysing non-conformities and deviations
-Initiating corrective preventive actions
2. Product and process audits To all the products produced in the plant
Quality level to meet the target value and customer expectations
Benchmarking
-competitor's products
-referring to quality survey
-dealer visits
3. Process auditsTo all the products produced in the plant
-Designing specification
Monitor and control
Quality level of supplier components
Defect free parts during testing or early mileage
-supplier audits
-senior level discussion with top 10suppliers
4. Enhance customers' satisfaction
