Job summary

Khazana Jewellery Pvt. Ltd. invites an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to handle BOQ preparation for Civil, Interiors, Façade and MEP on green and brown field projects.

You will coordinate with pre- and post-tender QS and purchase teams, prepare rate analyses, monitor cash flow, and maintain contracts and purchase orders. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project is required.

Qualifications

• BE Civil with 12–15 years of experience in retail interior fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of rate analysis and market rates.
• Experience in pre- and post-tender QS and cost control.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Prepare BOQ for Civil, Interiors, Façade and MEP for Green & Brown field projects.
• Coordinate with pre- and post tender QS and procurement teams for material supplies and clarifications.
• Prepare rate analyses and maintain cost trackers.
• Assist Contracts Manager in pre-qualification of vendors.
• Track cash flow and cost control; maintain budgets vs achievements.
• Attend meetings with Line Manager to close out contractor evaluations.
• Assist line manager to prepare technical and commercial comparatives.
• Support negotiation meetings by taking notes and circulating them to stakeholders.
• Maintain material tracker, weekly & monthly cost forecasts; maintain contracts/POs.
• Keep historical records of budget vs achieved; ensure confidentiality.

Job description

Prepare BOQ includes Civil, Interiors, Façade and MEP for both Green & Brown field projects.

Co-ordinate and Support both pre and post tender QS and purchase team for material supplies and technical clarifications for any awarded job.

Prepare rate analysis and a strong knowledge in the market rates.

Maintain confidentiality & Integrity on all Project costs and Budgets.

Assist the Contracts manager in Pre-qualification process of the vendor

Assist the Contracts Manager to prepare and track the Cash Flow & Cost control

Assist Contracts manager during weekly meeting for scope inclusion, exclusions, duration, penalties and risks.

Attending meetings with the Line manager to close out the technical and commercial evaluation of the contractors.

Assist Line manager to prepare the technical and commercial comparatives.

Assist the line manager to call and attend the negotiation meetings, take meeting notes and officially circulate it to all stake holders.

Prepare and maintain material tracker, weekly & monthly cost forecasts.

Maintain the contracts and purchase orders.

Maintain the historical records of budget vs achieved.

Mandatory working knowledge in AUTOCAD, MS Project.
