• Strong analytical and numerical skills for quantity take-offs and cost estimations.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, rate analysis, and project budgets for residential and commercial projects.
• Conduct cost planning and value engineering to optimize project costs.
• Review and certify contractor/vendor bills, work measurements, and variations.
• Monitor budget vs. actual costs and prepare cost reports for management.
• Coordinate with Project Execution, Procurement, and Finance teams for cost control.
• Track material consumption and wastage to ensure cost efficiency.
• Support in estimating quantities and validating work progress at project stages.
• Evaluate change orders and variations with proper documentation and approvals.
• Provide MIS reports and project cost summaries to management.
• Administer site cost processes against contracts throughout the project lifecycle.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS) Manager to lead cost estimation, budgeting, and project cost monitoring for our residential and commercial developments. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate cost planning, value engineering, and timely financial reporting to support efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, rate analysis, and project budgets for residential and commercial projects.
• Conduct cost planning and value engineering to achieve project cost optimization.
• Review and certify contractor / vendor bills, work measurements, and variations.
• Monitor budget vs. actual project costs and prepare detailed cost reports for management review.
• Coordinate closely with the Project Execution, Procurement, and Finance teams for smooth cost control.
• Track material consumption and wastage to ensure project cost efficiency.
• Support in estimating quantities and validating work progress at various project stages.
• Evaluate change orders and variations, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
• Provide regular MIS reports and project cost summaries to management.
• Administering the process followed & work done at the site against contracts, throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all the parties are adhering to contractual obligations and terms.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 7 - 11 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on shuttering works within the construction industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing quantities and costs for shuttering activities on large-scale projects.
