Job description

Key purpose of the job: To play vital role in the research, analysis, development and implementation of strategy, Evaluation & Monitoring of project progress in order to maximum profitability & cost effectiveness. Key focus areas- Approvals, Design, Execution & Monitoring.

Strategic & Operational

• Evaluation & Monitoring of Construction Cost
• Oversee all phases of project execution; co-coordinating with Contract/Design team, troubleshoot and resolve problems, consistently meeting project deadlines
• Ensuring highest possible quality standard.
• Efficiently liaise with Architects, Contractors & the Clients
• Draw up plans to prepare forecast report
• Implementation of Review & Tracking mechanism-MIS
• Initiate the turnaround efforts to publish quarterly reports with analysis to the stakeholders
• Highlighting delays, monitoring catch up plan
• Raising bottlenecks & critical issues leading to delay in milestones.
• Cash flow projections for the month/quarter/year
• Inspect /monitor/analyze the activities for maintaining the required quality/Safety norms
• Devise effective strategies to review project throughout
• Carry out in-depth analysis of the projects, for assessment of technical and commercial viability of the projects to ensure proper utilization of the resources

Research & Development

• Managing Innovations in structures, MEP, enabling structures and infrastructure, including new technology, formworks, construction equipment and improving construction processes in building industry, specifically in area of affordable housing.
• The innovation should be focused on enabling scale, cost reduction mechanization in construction process, without compromising on quality and safety and keeping sustainability as minimum requirement.
• Propose and implement industrys best development/construction practices
• Measure effectiveness of (monetary /nonmonetary) new technology / methods implemented
