Job summary

Shapoorji Pallonji Group is seeking a senior civil project supervisor to oversee daily site execution, ensuring adherence to design specifications and budget. You will plan and direct activities, coordinate with contractors and vendors, and prepare regular progress reports.

The role requires 10–15 years of civil project experience, strong knowledge of finishing works, QA/QC, MIS reporting, and the ability to interpret drawings and quality standards. NICMAR is preferred.

Qualifications

• BE/ B.Tech / M.Tech Civil with NICMAR preferable.
• Exposure to real estate developments related to Residential, Commercial and IT projects.
• 10–15 years’ experience in civil projects.
• Interpretation of design and quality specifications; quantity estimation.
• MIS generation and reporting using IT tools.

Responsibilities

Key purpose of the job

Assisting the Project In-charge, by supervising the overall project execution as per design contract and cost parameters. Responsible for day to day execution activities by planning, scheduling, organizing, directing and monitoring. Making daily and weekly progress report.

Key Accountabilities

• Supervise and co-ordinate daily Execution at site.
• Ensure day to day work progress and communicate with contractors, vendors & management.
• To perform the work within allocated budget, time and resources

Operational

• To Supervise and co-ordinate daily execution by various contractors
• To ensure adherence to design and quality specifications
• Provide technical assistance to contractors, as and when required; for example: Task scheduling
• Execution work steps/ methods
• Interpretation of drawings/ designs
• To determine requirements and order/ requisition material (cement and steel) at site
• Undertake joint measurements, along with contractor, to facilitate preparation of bills
• Maintain and verify measurement sheets for various activities

Developmental

• Ensuring Implementation of learnings of new technologies on site

Desired Candidate Profile

• Should have hands on experience on Finishing (tiling, flooring, painting, fall ceiling external/internal finishing etc.)
• Should have crisp, clear, accurate knowledge about the Design Mix, Material Testing Tools & Techniques, QAQC/ EHS, MIS/Reports, Interpretation of design and quality specifications
• Ensure the quality workmanship throughout the project in all aspects.(Structural work)
• Should have hands-on experience in Structural aspects

Project Scope

• Excavation, Piling, Foundation, Casting (Columns, Slabs), Grouting
• Block work/Plastering/ Painting
• Structural Finishing, External Works + Door Windows etc.

Internal & External Interactions

Internal: Project In-Charge, Project Team, QAQC Team. External: suppliers, contractors, External laboratories.

Education & Experience Requirement

• BE/ B. Tech/ M. Tech Civil ( NICMAR Preferable)
