Job summary

Amtech, backed by Vista Equity Partners, is seeking a Lead Product Owner based in India to drive product execution for the labeling ERP line and coordinate product owners across labeling and corrugated ERP lines. Responsibilities

• Perform product-management execution for the labeling product line in partnership with in-market product leadership.

• Produce and maintain product artifacts and close market-facing gaps with leadership.
• Define and prioritize features, enhancements, and fixes aligned with roadmap direction.
• Plan sprints across multiple months with tech leads and development teams.
• Coordinate and support product owners across labeling and corrugated product lines in India.
• Schedule, facilitate, and oversee agile ceremonies (PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Reviews).
• Review PDLC artifacts and ensure quality; build a community of practice for product owners.
• Help product owners grow in their craft through coaching and sharing best practices.
• Work with engineering, QA, UX, and architecture during sprint cycles.

Role Description

We are looking for a Lead Product Owner, based in Amtech India, to support product execution for our labeling ERP product line and to coordinate and support the product owners working across our labeling and corrugated ERP product lines.

On the product side, this role performs the product-management execution work for the labeling line of business in close partnership with in-market product leadership. Working with product management and market-facing stakeholders, the Lead Product Owner translates roadmap initiatives and projects into actionable development work, produces and maintains product artifacts, and drives delivery while market-facing direction, priorities, and customer strategy are set jointly with in-market leadership.

On the coordination side, this role supports and oversees the product-owner process for the India-based team: scheduling and facilitating agile ceremonies, acting as a quality gate on product development lifecycle (PDLC) artifacts, and building a strong product-owner community of practice.This is a coordination and enablement role; it does not carry direct people-management responsibility.

The ideal candidate understands manufacturing operations, ERP systems, and agile product development, and is comfortable working across technical teams, product owners, and in-market product leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Execution (Labeling Product Line)

• Performproduct-managementexecution for the labeling product line in partnership with in-market product leadership.
• Translate roadmap initiatives and projects into epics, user stories, and a well-formed backlog.
• Produce andmaintainproduct artifacts, working with in-market leadership to close market-facing gaps.

Product Owner Coordination & Enablement (Both Product Lines)

• Coordinate and support the product owners working across the labeling and corrugated product lines in India.
• Schedule,facilitate, and oversee agile ceremonies Program Increment (PI) Planning, Sprint Planning, and Sprint Reviews.
• Review and act as a quality gate on the completeness and quality of PDLC artifacts.
• Build and support a product-owner community of practice shared standards, templates, and continuous improvement.
• Help product ownersgrow intheir craft through coaching, feedback, andsharedbest practices.

Agile Development Collaboration

• Work closely with engineering, QA, UX, and architecture teams during sprint planning, development, and release cycles.
• Coordinate with product managers, tech leads, and development teams in Program Increment planning.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies including planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Clarify requirements and ensure development teams understand the desired product outcomes.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work with in-market product leadership (product management and market-facing stakeholders) to align execution with roadmap and customer needs.
• Work with implementation, support, and sales teams to ensure product features align with customer needs.
• Provide productexpertisefor internal stakeholders and help drive continuous improvement of product capabilities.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+years experienceas a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst in a software environment, including experience leading or coordinating other product owners.
• 5+years experienceleading or coordinating other product owners.
• Strong experience working in Agile / Scrum development environments andfacilitatingagile ceremonies, including PI planning.
• Experience with ERP systems.
