Job summary

Renew in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, is seeking a Process Engineer for a 6.0 GW Mono Crystalline Ingot-Wafer manufacturing plant. The role sets up baseline recipes and drives continuous performance improvements across crystal growth, ingot modification, wafer slicing, and cleaning/inspection processes.

Responsibilities

• Setting up baseline recipe for Ingot-Wafer and develop mechanism for continuous performance improvement metrics
• Conceptualization and establish new process schemes/concepts in Cr-Si Ingot-Wafer product space
• Involved with cross functional teams to achieve timely and cost effective roll out of improvement projects
• Closely working with downstream products of Cell & Module team for resolution of Customer complaints on Products
• Developing key systems and procedures (SOPs) leading to new materials characterization and successful application in manufacturing field
• Involved with all cross functional teams and work with them to achieve timely and cost effective roll out of projects
• Responsible for all quality accreditations of new material implementation and QMS in Compliance with ISO
• Responsible for all the process control parameters and quality procedures development and implement in Crystal growth, ingot modification, wafer slicing and cleaning & inspection process
• Responsible for Engineering Change Note (ECN) control and Implementation
• Interact with shift In-charges and shop floor people to identify the issues in the process and Ingot & wafer quality
• Identify the new developments in the cost implication areas to reduce the cost and process time without affecting the quality
• Give necessary training for shop floor people to implement and control the process changes
• Interface with production team and internal customer to resolve the technical or quality issues
• Check material and product specification to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Coordination with internal customers and maintenance team to ensure a coordinated design and complete engineering deliverables.
