Renew in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh seeks an experienced Maintenance professional for a 6.0 GW Mono Ingot-Wafer plant. The role focuses on uptime, tool availability, spare parts, CAPA, safety, and cost optimization in a high-scale manufacturing setting.

The candidate should have 10–15 years in equipment maintenance, strong mechanical/electrical knowledge, PLC/servo proficiency, and hands-on automation experience across PLCs, SCADA, CNC, and related systems. Local safety standards apply.

Formación

• Extensive experience in equipment maintenance and management.
• Deep knowledge of mechanical/electrical/electronic equipment in silicon-based crystal growth.
• Proficient with PLC/servo drives/motors used in Ingot-Wafer tools.
• Strong knowledge of melting furnace, wire saw, CNC machine, vacuum systems.
• Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic systems, SCADA, and vision systems.
• Understanding of ISO standards and basic safety.
• Hands-on maintenance of automation lines and accessories.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain Mono Ingot-Wafer plant equipment uptime to benchmark levels.
• Identify critical tools and develop handling mechanisms to improve uptime.
• Analyze machine breakdowns (scheduled and unscheduled) and take action.
• Identify key spares and maintain inventory with OEM part codes.
• Back up key components/PLC software for tools.
• Source local suppliers for long-lead items to reduce maintenance costs.
• Plan and undertake preventive maintenance without compromising productivity.
• Repair faulty equipment parts (mechanical/electrical).
• Implement CAPA and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure safety of team during plant operation per SOPs.
• Identify safety hazards and close out near misses.
• Conduct regular safety interactions with associates.
• Review spare and maintenance costs and drive improvements.
• Lead Kaizen initiatives and foster team culture.
• Ensure consumables and equipment utilization per budget.
• Prepare monthly MIS and spare inventory analysis.

Job Purpose

This position will work in the Maintenance function for a 6.0 GW scale Mono Crystalline Ingot-Wafer Manufacturing Plant in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

Roles and Responsibilities

• The person shall be responsible for maintaining Mono Ingot-Wafer Plant Equipment uptime to benchmark levels.
• Identify Critical tools in Ingot-Wafer process and develop suitable handling mechanisms to improve Tool uptime
• Capture and comprehensive analysis of machine breakdowns (Schedules/Unscheduled etc.)
• Identify Mandatory/Key Spares and maintain Inventory with OEM Part codes for ease access
• Responsible for ensuring Proper Back up of Key components/PLC Software of tools
• Establishment of Local source of Supply for all Key and Long lead items towards spare & Maintenance cost reduction.
• Planning and undertaking Preventive maintenance activities without compromise on Productivity
• Mechanism of Repairing of faulty Equipment parts (Mechanical/Electrical etc).
• Ensuring Implementation of Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Responsible for Safety of self and subordinates during Plant Operation following all established safety SOPs./WI
• Identify safety Hazards and Reporting of Safety / Near miss and effective closure.
• Having regular Safety interaction with associates at all levels.
• Review of Spare and Maintenance cost parameters with team and initiate improvement activities
• Initiate improvement activities through Kaizen approach and develop a culture within team
• Ensure Maintenance consumable and equipment utilization as per budget target.
• Monthly MIS & spare inventory analysis and corrective measures.
• Responsible for QMS in Compliance with ISO 9000:2008, ISO 14001, OHAS: 18001.
• Implementation of TQM Concept on Shopfloor like 5S,3M, Suggestion Scheme, etc

Profile & Eligible Criteria

• More than 10-15 years of experience in Equipment Maintenance and Management.
• Thorough Maintenance Knowledge on mechanical/Electrical/Electronic equipment especially in Silicon based crystal growth and wafering techniques
• Strong Knowledge and Skills to handle various PLC/Servo Drives/Motors to be used in Ingot-Wafer tools.
• Strong Knowledge in Melting Furnace, Wire saw cutting, CNC Machine, vacuum pump, magnetic vacuum seal.
• Strong Knowledge Hydraulic system, Pneumatic system, SCADA, Vision system.
• Knowledge of crystal growth process and crystal quality issues and its impacts on quality of final product
• Knowledge of Crystalline Silicon Wafer Manufacturing process and cell and module production process if any is additional advantage
• Knowledge of ISO- Standards and procedures and Basic Safety Knowledge (Fire-safety, Waste Management, etc)
• Hands on experience in automation line and accessories (conveyor, robots, AGVs, gantry, etc) maintenance.
• Good communication and Presentation skills
