Job summary

Nayara Energy in Mumbai is seeking an experienced pricing professional to own price trend analysis, MIS reporting, and SAP-based price governance. You will coordinate with marketing, refinery, and FP&A to finalize RSPs and bulk pricing, reflecting tax and freight changes across domestic and international markets.

Ideal candidates will have 7–12 years of relevant experience, a strong commercial mindset, and a track record of driving pricing accuracy and competitive insights in a fast-paced energy

• Post Graduate / Graduate with commercial/ financial acumen and Industry knowledge.
• Candidate should have at-least 7-12 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Price Trend Analysis and Dashboard Updates.
• Update daily international price movements from key publications.
• Maintain refinery transfer price inputs and reflect expected domestic price changes in management dashboards.
• Finalize daily domestic prices for petroleum products.
• Analyze competitor pricing and marketing inputs.
• Provide MIS and margin analysis to support pricing strategy decisions.
• Update RSPs based on RTKMs, taxation, and freight changes.
• Finalize fortnightly and monthly prices for bulk products and PSU sales.
• Ensure pricing aligns with contracts, tenders, and discount policies.
• Update selling prices based on tax changes and support B2B proposals.
• Upload prices in SAP and conduct accuracy checks.
• Review team updates through random audits and ensure timely circular issuance.
• Analyze field inputs and correct RSP discrepancies across retail outlets.
• Monitor PSU RSPs and structural price changes.
• Configure new pricing mechanisms and tax/duty changes in SAP.
• Supervise testing and validate accuracy post-deployment.
• Provide rolling plan inputs and collaborate with EPS and IST teams.
• Analyze futures, market variables, and policy shifts for scenario planning.
• Support internal material transfers between Marketing and Refinery.
• Compute and circulate standard costing reports to FP&A on a fortnightly basis.
• Prepare presentations for external conferences, inductions, and reviews.
• Conduct training sessions for new joiners and transferees.
• Address pricing discrepancies and audit observations in coordination with stakeholders.
• Ensure timely closure and documentation of audit responses.
• Engage with industry working groups to track market trends.
• Resolve field-level pricing queries and maintain operational alignment.
• Review and guide the work of junior team members.
• Train, mentor, and develop team capabilities for pricing accuracy and strategic insight.
