Job summary

JSW Steel Mumbai seeks a senior pricing and revenue management professional to drive pricing, discounts, and revenue growth for long products. You will analyse market trends and coordinate with branches, regions, and plants to align pricing policies, while developing dashboards to monitor performance.

The role requires strong analytical capabilities, extensive experience in marketing and commercial functions, and the ability to translate market dynamics into competitive pricing strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12–14 years of experience in marketing and commercial roles.
• Strong analytical skills with pricing and market dynamics.
• Experience in pricing, revenue management, and dashboard analytics.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end pricing and discount governance for long products.
• Develop pricing analytics dashboards and monitor price trends.
• Coordinate with branches, regions, and plants to align policies.

Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators)

• End to end responsibility of Revenue management (Pricing and discounts) for Long products (Including Alloy Steel)
• Pricing analytics and dashboard development under guidance of Pricing head
• Analyse the opportunities for increasing the incremental changes related to grades, sizes and markets based on competition and market dynamics.
• Analyse the cost of products/ grades (based on input from plants) and accordingly propose the incremental changes.
• Analyse the domestic & international price trends and accordingly propose the monthly pricing for all products. Responsible for preparing and proposing any deviation of price during the month for approval from the authorized person.
• Monitor and analyze all contractual & project prices.
