Job summary

Tata Motors Global Services Limited is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable SME in Pune to lead process improvement and governance with SSC and business stakeholders.

The role requires strong knowledge of AP, SAP, and Excel, plus a postgraduate commerce qualification and leadership mindset. English and Hindi language skills are expected for effective collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Must have deep knowledge of Accounts Payable processes.
• Demonstrates ownership, accountability and collaboration.
• MBA or PG in Commerce is required; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• POT Paid On Time: analyse and explore possibilities to meet targets.
• Coordinate with SSC team to ensure smooth operations with minimal escalations.
• Monthly governance with SSC and key business stakeholders.
• Lead projects with IT team to deliver on time.
• Drive process simplification and cost-saving initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal and external audit teams.
• Review AP schedules and ensure hygiene with R2R and stakeholders.

Role & responsibilities

• POT Paid On Time Rigorous Analyse & explore every possibility to ensure Targets are Met


• Rigorous Review with SSC Team & ensure Smooth Operations with Almost NIL Escalations


• Monthly Governance with SSC & Key Business Stakeholders


• Lead Projects - Network closely with IT Team & deliver Projects as per Targeted Timelines


• Challenge Status Quo Continuous hunt for Simplification in the Process & take Process ahead to Excellence Levels


• Co-ordination with Audit Teams External & Internal


• Contribute in Improvement Ideas & Deliver Cost Savings Initiatives


• Review of AP Schedules On Account, GRIR, Advances, Open Debits, Blocked Reports, etc. Network with all Relevant Stakeholders including R2R Team & ensure Hygiene is in place
