Job summary

The Senior HR Business Partner at Mphasis serves as a strategic advisor to business leaders in Sales, Solutions and ITES practices, aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals and driving employee development and engagement.

With 8–10 years of HR experience including 4–5 in an HRBP role, you will partner with leaders to shape workforce planning, talent management, and leadership development while ensuring compliance and confidentiality across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 8–10 years HR experience with 4–5 years in a HRBP role in ITES.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, talent management, and organizational development.
• Professional certification (SHRM-SCP or SPHR) preferred.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement people strategies.
• Consult on complex employee relations, performance management and org development.
• Lead workforce planning including talent acquisition, succession planning, and retention.
• Design and facilitate leadership development programs and training initiatives.
• Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations.
• Coach managers on leadership practices, conflict resolution, and team development.
• Drive change management initiatives during organizational transitions.

Role & responsibilities

The Senior HR Business Partner serves as a strategic advisor to the business leader for Sales, Solutions, other practice roles. The HRBP leader would help align HR initiatives with organizational goals while supporting employee development and engagement.

This role requires a deep understanding of business operations, organizational development, and HR best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement people strategies that support business objectives
• Provide expert consultation on complex employee relations issues, performance management, and organizational development
• Lead workforce planning initiatives including talent acquisition, succession planning, and retention strategies
• Design and facilitate leadership development programs and training initiatives
• Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations
• Coach managers on effective leadership practices, conflict resolution, and team development
• Drive change management initiatives during organizational transitions
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• 8-10 years of progressive HR experience with at least 4-5 years in a business partner role in ITES
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, talent management, and organizational development
• Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
• Demonstrated ability to work with sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
• Experience with HRIS systems and HR analytics
• Professional certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred
