Responsabilités

• Product costing and analysis including API costing, COGS validation, and stakeholder communication.
• Budgeting and financial planning using Anaplan, overhead planning and variance analysis.
• Regulatory & compliance reporting incl. CAS-4/PLI, RoDTEP and NPPA activities.
• Inventory management and valuation across Plant, C&F and in-transit stock; provisions for damaged/near-expiry inventory.
• Cost audit support including quantity reconciliation, consumption analysis and expense allocation; cost sheets.
• Automation & Process Improvement via RPA projects with Anaplan, Power BI and SAP BW.

Job Title: Sr. Manager -Costing

Key responsibilities:

1. Product Costing & Analysis

• Perform API actual costing, including detailed trend and variance analysis.
• Compute and validate COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) and communicate insights to stakeholders such as Business Development and Marketing teams.
• Handle R&D product costing and periodically update transfer pricing.
• Conduct PUP rate analysis on a monthly basis for ML runs.
• Track solvent and metal recovery, including valuation and performance monitoring.
• Drive Life Cycle Management (LCM) costing, coordinating with R&D and plant teams.

2. Budgeting & Financial Planning

• Manage budget preparation in Anaplan tool.
• Prepare budget cost sheets, including detailed overhead planning.
• Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights for cost optimization.

3. Regulatory & Compliance Reporting

• Handle CAS-4 / PLI working, including submission of raw material cost break-ups (local vs. imported) as per government regulations on a quarterly basis.
• Prepare and submit RoDTEP annual returns in compliance with prescribed requirements.
• Manage NPPA-related activities, including responding to queries and submitting production, cost, sales, and quantitative data.

4. Inventory Management & Valuation

• Perform monthly and quarterly inventory categorization and valuation.
• Evaluate inventory across Plant, C&F locations, and In-transit stock.
• Calculate provisions for damaged, expired, near-expiry, and non-moving inventory as per company policy.
• Update and report global inventory data, ensuring alignment with corporate operations.

5. Cost Audit & Financial Reporting

• Support cost audit activities, including:
  • Quantity reconciliation
  • Consumption analysis
  • Expense allocation
• Prepare cost sheets and profit reconciliation statements.
• Compile annexures and schedules for cost audit compliance.

6. Automation & Process Improvement (RPA)

• Work with consultants on RPA (Robotic Process Automation) initiatives across systems such as Anaplan, Power BI, and SAP BW.
• Draft and document Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for automation projects.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and digital transformation.
